I’m a big fan of trivia, so I’m always on the look out for a good trivia game for iOS. I have tried many different versions, and none of them really lived up to my expectations. Trivia games were either too easy or too difficult, buggy or just plain ugly.
So when I first saw a friend of mine playing MAG Interactive’s Quizcross, I immediately asked him what he was playing. I downloaded the app shortly after, and since then I have not looked back. Find out what makes Quizcross such an amazing trivia game after the break. (more…)
One of the Mac apps I could never live without is Alfred. It just makes everything so much quicker and easier to do — just a press of a keyboard shortcut and the action I want to carry out is just a few letters away. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen an iOS app that can streamline our actions just like Alfred.
That is, until now. App Cubby’s newest release, Launch Center Pro, is the Alfred that iOS has been missing ever since its debut. Launch Center Pro will completely revolutionize the way you use your iPhone by bringing several features into one place. Learn more about how this app can make your iPhone that much more efficient after the break. (more…)
I’ve used plenty to-do list applications in my day, and shelled out quite a bit of money for them, to say the least. Some boasted much more features than others, while some were better designed. And, well, some were better than others. I have found that I prefer the simple to-do app, so I resorted to using Clear.
Then a nifty little app called Cheddar came out. It was similar to Clear because of its simplicity of design and function, but seemed to be a bit more robust when it came down to features. But does Cheddar make the cut and replace Clear as my go-to to-do list application? Find out after the jump. (more…)
While I myself am guilty of never having seen The Naked Gun, it seems as if the consensus believe that the movie is amazing. Now, DNA Interactive has reincarnated the movie into a new game for iOS, named The Naked Gun: I.C.U.P., featuring the one and only Lieutenant Drebin. And trust me — you will not be disappointed. Learn more after the break. (more…)
I guess I’ll start off this post by saying that [adult swim] has never resorted to normalcy with their applications. I mean, with titles like Robot Unicorn Attack and Snoticles, it’s safe to say that their applications won’t be like the rest.
The same holds true with one of their lesser known applications, Monsters Ate My Condo. In this game, you will go on a quest to keep your condo conquest from falling into the monsters’ hands. Can you undertake this crazy challenge? Find out after the break. (more…)
We all have those everyday chores that we dread. I mean, doing laundry, running errands and cleaning the counters aren’t exactly my idea of fun. One of these chores that we run into rather often is grocery shopping. This isn’t enjoyable, right? Well think again.
In Hidden Variable’s game Bag It!, you will find fun in perhaps the most annoying part of grocery shopping — packing up the bags. As you will soon learn, this is an art waiting to be mastered. Can you stand up to the challenge? Read more about it after the break. (more…)
Zombies — the undead that are seemingly huge in today’s culture — taking all of media by storm. Whether it be in TV shows, movies or video games, zombies are often the target for humans. As a result, they are often slaughtered in masses.

Forget Grand Theft Auto, there is a new robbery game out on the block. While this game does not have all of the action that GTA has, it does not mean it is any less thrilling.
Robbery Bob puts a new twist on previous burglary games. In this review, you will learn why this comically strategic game put this criminal as the most wanted on the App Store charts.
We all have that one app on our iPhone that we thought we would hate and ended up loving it. When I was asked to review Super Mega Worm, I must admit that I was a bit reluctant at first. Still, I accepted the assignment and went on my way. And I’m damn glad that I did.
Read on to find out what is so special about Super Mega Worm and why I love it so much. (more…)
