Welcome to iPhone.AppStorm!

We’re pleased to announce the launch of the third member in the AppStorm network of sites: iPhone.AppStorm!

Complimenting Mac.AppStorm and Web.AppStorm, the new site will be offering reviews and roundups of iPhone software, along with tips and tricks to get the most from your iPhone or iPod touch. Whether you’re a web designer, writer, photographer, gamer or developer, we have some fantastic content in store for you over the coming months. We’ll also be launching another weekly iPhone comic strip by the talented NC Winters!

As ever, there are various ways to keep up-to-date with what’s happening at iPhone.AppStorm. You can subscribe to our RSS feed, follow us on Twitter, or stop by our Facebook page to become a fan. Whichever you choose, I’m looking forward to hearing what you have to say about the site.

What Do You Want to See?

So, I hope you’re as excited about the new site as I am! My iPhone is, hands down, the most useful piece of technology I’ve ever owned. There are over 100,000 apps out there, and we can’t wait to get started reviewing them.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on the new site, and the direction you would like to see it take. Are you interested in roundups of different types of app, or would you prefer in-depth reviews? What would you like to be able to do with your iPhone that you struggle to at the moment? And, most importantly, which applications would you like to win?! Have your say in the comments, and let us know what you’d like to see.

Here’s to the future of iPhone.AppStorm!

  • Awesome! Finally a site 100% aimed to me :D iPhone´s my game and life ;)

Really looking forward to see what you have in store!

Merry Christmas to everyone and especially to you David! :)

  • Welcome iphone.appstorm

    Happy Christmas

  • It’s a great addition to the Appstorm network. I see it’s been rebranded slightly, I like it it, keeps it more consistent.

What I’d like to see is a topic/task you’d like to perform on your iPhone/iPod Touch (for example: task management), round-up the best contenders and then review the best one in more detail.

  • Great! :)

  • Hi, I emailed you guys a while ago about Color Stream (http://colorstreamapp.com/) and you said you’ll take a look. Now that you have a venue, it would be great if you could take another look!

    - Thanks!
    Sahil.

  • I’ve an idea about a tutorial for managing without MobileMe on the iPhone in terms of syncing etc. would you be interested?

But great site so far ;-)

  • As I already twitted, a minor thing: under Reviews it says “Just Mac apps”
Other than that, a very fine addition, looking forward to the content.

  • I’d love to see a review of Things for iPhone. Since it is the iPhone companion app for a Mac app that you have already reviewed.

  • Yeaaaaah. It will be another hit from envato by the grace of God

  • I’d love to see in depth reviews as well as round ups and of course, plenty or upcoming apps info.

    Love the new website!!

  • Congratulations on the new launch! I’m loving the site design!
I’d love to see some interviews with iPhone developers to go alongside the great reviews, roundups, and how-tos!

Looking forward to a great year on iPhone AppStorm.
    Cheers and Merry Christmas everyone!

  • Congrats with the new site, looks horrifying awesome :D looking forward to all the iphone app reviews ^^

  • Hmm… iPhone site without an iPhone optimized version? Meant to be viewed on desktop only I guess

  • I’m following – Let’s see what you got!

  • I’d love to see a feature talking about apps that dont just directly link you to your home computer — what if you have to do all your work on your iPhone, instead of your mac or pc? I’d like to see how close to the desktop experience you can get, and broken down for Artists/Designers, MS Office Users/Business Class, and any other breakdown you can think of.

  • I would like to see best credit card app, iXpenseit vs others, best todo list, mobileRSS vs Byliner. Thats all I can think of right now

  • Nice! it would be cool if you posted daily game, one game every day. And a post on how to use the iPhone as a tool for your computer (apps like pastebot and that photoshop remote no one remembers, remote apps and a guide to VNC). Also, it would be cool if you posted an article on how the iPhone can help a graphic designer (there is color management apps, tons of typography apps, measurement apps, time tracking apps and so on).

And why not post “best of the week” in the different categories, like best game of the week, best productivity app of the week, best camera app otw and so on.. for example games on mondays, productivity on tuesday, camera on wednesday, books on tuesday.

Also, everyone like apps with nice interface. Why not interface of the week?
