Are You Excited About iOS 6?

Just over a week ago, we found out exactly what’s in iOS 6, and saw some of the cool new features to come along with it. We’ve already told you about them, but now we’re wondering if you’re excited about all of the big changes, or if it’s just a ho-hum release. What do you think? Let us know in the poll to the right.

I’m still upset that Apple’s not making iOS 6 for the iPad 1, especially when the iPhone 3GS is getting it.

Hey Apple, we wouldn’t mind at all if you changed your mind before iOS 6 is released ;)

As Matthew, I’m also not satisfied with iOS 6 not being available on the first gen iPad. And also that I’m currently owning a iPhone 4 does make iOS 6 less exciting.

Maybe I’ll forget that last part, if I have money enough to afford the next released iPhone on the market.

It’s nothing special or “big thing”. Just polished overhyped OS. Always hated how Apple wants to control the user experience without giving the possibility of adjust example UI to way you like it. Come on! Four icons in the row and app names under it. At least give users possibility to hide those labels with out jailbreaking.

This is exactly why I’m glad Apple locks down their OS more than Google. People like you have no idea how to design or organize an interface, come up with bad ideas and then want to ruin a clean and consistent structure. Why would anyone want Apple to make iOS less efficient by adding code/features which only serves to allow idiots to ruin their own user experience?

How does removing icon names ruin the user experience? It’s a preference in design – if you’re familiar with all your apps and can tell the difference between them by the icon, then removing the text labels makes a much cleaner homescreen.

This is typical Apple-epistle (Chapter 5 verse 10) ;) So if I want a cleaner home screen and want to hide some unnecessary features I “ruin a clean and consistent structure”? Seriously dude? To keep iOS too strict it’s not brilliance it’s pure stupidity.

i wish you all that stupidity and may be one day you will create the most popular mobile OS on the planet, like “stupid” Apple did. if you don’t like it, use other phones with other OS. what’s the problem?
