Do You Buy AppleCare for Your iPhone?

I treated myself to a new iPad the other day, and as I was completing the sale, the associates says to me, “Would you like to buy AppleCare for your iPad?” Funny, I had never considered that before.

Turns out there’s an AppleCare option for the iPhone as well. It costs $99, and provides two years of coverage. It covers accidental damage, too — but it comes with a $49 service fee.

So is it worth it? I didn’t buy it for my iPad, but I might for my next iPhone. What about you? Let us know in the poll!

I might for our next iPhones due to the damage we have done to them!

I didn’t buy AppleCare for my iPhone, and I regret it. :(

Nothing has happened to my phone yet. I buy AppleCare for my laptops though, and it always comes in handy at some point, even just to get over-the-phone support. Hopefully the iPhone is a bit more robust…

Needs an option for ‘it didn’t exisit when i got my iPhone’. i had to pay just around $350AUD to get it replaced cuz the battery failed, and the warranty provider i got given was meant to cover it but they didn’t, so i had to fork out cuz my phone was unusable
