Weekly Poll: Do You Use GTD Apps?

It’s Productivity Week here at iPhone.AppStorm, and all week we’re going to have app reviews and how-tos, all based on getting things done. Plus, we’ll even pull some classic reviews out of the archives. Stay tuned all week!

There are about a million apps in the App Store based on David Allen’s popular book, Getting Things Done, forming a craze that’s known by the acronym GTD. With so many apps to choose from, it can be pretty daunting to find one that really fits your needs. In fact, there are so many choices that some people may opt not to use the apps at all.

So where do you fall in the spectrum? Answer in the poll to the right and let us know!

I absolutely can’t live without The Hit List. It keeps everything tied together, from household chores to important school and work deadlines.

The nasty side effect is that I can’t remember anything if I don’t enter it into The Hit List, but when I do, I’ll never forget. I guess it works well enough :)

I have the exact same problem as John.
Sometimes I enter a lot of tasks, then forget everything about them later on.

Problem is that i have tried so many task lists/GTD and todo apps lately that i haven’t been able to get anything done that i should’ve gotten done in the first place…

I think a good GTD app should be as simple as possible… It won’t get in the way with unnecessary features and you will be sure to use it often. I finally settled for one called Facio Tasks.
