Would You Buy an iPad mini?

Rumors are spinning right now, and the current hot one is that we’re going to get an announcement from Apple tomorrow that schedules an event for the following Wednesday, where we’re going to see the iPad mini.

Now this is a rumor, and we all know that rumors aren’t necessarily fact, but there’s so much going on about this hypothetical device that it begs the question: would you buy an iPad mini? After all, it’s a bit of a hybrid between the popular iPhone and the also popular iPad. Maybe you’d prefer the smaller size of the mini over the regular iPad, or possibly you just want a bigger iPhone.

    I don’t have any iPad yet. A mini would fit in places an iPad won’t. On the other hand, one reason for iPad is for photo editing so for that I need retina and larger screen. aiting to see what id offered ad then pick one.

    I’d buy an iPad mini for my elderly mother. A phone is too small for her to type anything on, and a regular iPad is just added expense, since she won’t use it very much.

    It would replace her home computer which she uses very rarely to check her bank balance and keep in touch with family overseas. The mini would be perfect.

    YES!!!! I hardly use my iPad, it’s not portable enough. But the mini will fit in my purse, but bring benefits of the larger size that I don’t get from my phone. I’d probably make it my e-reader, too, which I’ve resisted getting thus far.

    Yes, I’d buy one. The reason being is I gave my almost brand-new iPad to my parents as a present and I desperately miss having an iPad. This would be a perfect purchase given it’s form-factor.

    I would definitely buy one! I have been looking for a smaller tablet that I can carry around with me, and not be weighed down with. I have been hearing about the iPad Mini for weeks from a co-worker at DISH and now I can’t stop looking for whatever information I can find on it. I really just want it to be able to take it with me out of the house, especially with all the new shows and new fall season coming up shortly, to watch live TV on the DISH Remote Access app so I don’t have to miss any of my shows this season. I know the price will probably be more than the Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire, but I am sure it will be worth it. I can’t wait to hear an official announcement for it.
