As the iPad gradually made its way across the world this weekend, we thought it would be useful to bring together a big collection of different cases, gadgets and accessories related to Apple’s latest offering.
Although it certainly shines all by itself, the iPad becomes even more useful when combined with other accessories. The official case available from Apple, this one comes in black with a soft microfiber interior. It’s fairly lightweight, and folds horizontally or vertically to hold iPad at an angle for viewing video or typing on the onscreen keyboard. As you’d expect, there are holes for headphone jack, dock connector port, and on/off and volume buttons.
Reviews are a little mixed about this one. It’s certainly a good option, but you might be able to find something of a slightly higher quality with some basic research.
This folio flips open to reveal the Multi-Touch display, then closes like a book for privacy and protection. Elan Passport’s microsuede lining protects your iPad from scratches and smudges.
It’s held shut by a tab closure, with an inner cover including pockets for ID and more. It looks damn fine.
