Although this is the iPhone arm of the AppStorm network, let’s face facts: Apple announcements are always big news. And currently, the big hype around the rumor mill is that Apple is going to have an special announcement on March 7th, just one week from tomorrow. What’s it going to be about? We’ve heard iPad 3, and it makes sense, what with the company’s track record with the iPad. But nothing is a given here, just look at the delays on the iPhone 4S.

So what do you think? Will Apple schedule an announcement for next week? Will you hear about it this week? Let us know in the poll.

UPDATE: Looks like the rumors were correct. Today, Apple announced an event on March 7th for the iPad.

Apple has a special announcement scheduled for this Thursday, with only a brief clue as to what is happening: “Join us for an education announcement in the Big Apple.” But what does that mean? Pundits and rambling on about it being a new iPad, a new iPhone and even a full-sized AppleTV.

But what do you think will happen at this event? We’ve got our suspicions, what are yours? Let us know in the poll to the right.

Tomorrow we’ve got a big announcement at Apple HQ, and we know one thing: They’re going to talk about the iPhone. Other than that, we don’t really have much info other than a bunch of rumors, and nothing really concrete.

So what’s the word? What do you think we’ll find out tomorrow? Let us know in the poll to the right.
