Another week passes and the big news from the last seven days was the release of iOS4, allowing all owners of 3G and 3GS iPhones to upgrade to the latest operating system. As it’s Friday, we once again roundup the best new releases to the App Store, including the amazing new A-Team movie tie-in and one of my new favourites, Hit N’Run.

With the launch of the 2010 FIFA World Cup last week, we decided to bring you an iPhone Game Friday special featuring some of the best soccer games around for the iPhone. For those of you who need something to pass the time between matches, the following games should have you covered.

We’ve already mentioned Football Manager and FIFA 2010 in previous editions of Game Friday and so in this edition will be focusing on entirely different games.

Another week has passed, can you believe we are in mid-June now? The big news this week has obviously been the announcement of the new iPhone and so our Game Friday will once again feature five of the best new releases to the App Store.

Great games are coming thick and fast on the iPhone, with our fortnightly new releases barely scratching the surface of what is fast becoming a fairly lucrative industry. Game Friday this week takes a more specific look at one of my favourite genres of games, the real-time strategy game (RTS). Ever since playing Age of Empires and Command and Conquer on the PC back in my youth, I’ve always loved this genre. Thankfully, some bright sparks have decided to try their hand at creating RTS games for the iPhone, so we will be taking a look at 5 of them below.

Welcome to another issue of iPhone Game Friday. This week sees us take another look at the latest releases to the App Store, from the wonderful iSlice, to big name releases such as FIFA World Cup and Iron Man 2.

The big news in the iPhone gaming world at the moment is that Gameloft are currently giving away an App for free every day (except weekends) for two hours a day in order to mark their 10th birthday. This runs from May 10th to May 21st and you can find out when the next ‘Happy Hour’ is by following @gameloft on Twitter.

Apparently there are actually a lot of children who own iPhones/iPod touches – unsurprising, when you consider how easy they are to use! This has opened up a niche market for game developers to create games solely aimed at children.

Continuing our day of iPad-related posts, today I’m going to be taking a look at five of the best games that shipped alongside Apple’s brand new gadget. Some of these are ports of the equivalent game on the iPhone, and others are completely new.
