I’ve made it no secret that I’m in love with App.net, but my review of Whisper made it pretty clear that I also love the apps being built on the service. Whisper is a phenomenal app worth every penny and in-app purchase.

You can find Jared Sinclair and Jamin Guy, the developers of both Riposte and Whisper, on App.net. I was so excited about Whisper that I just had to talk with them about the creative process behind it and what’s coming up in Whisper’s future. As you can see, they were happy to oblige. (more…)

Today, people of all ages can learn to code amazing applications for our beloved iPhones. Veeral Patel can attest to this statement.

Though he is just a high school student, Veeral has shown that he too can play at the same level of the adults in the app industry through his recent release of Owl, a daily facts application I reviewed not too far back. Recently, I had the chance to talk to Veeral about his experience as a student developer, his experiences at this year’s WWDC and what we can expect from him in the near future. Enjoy.

Bad days — we all have them and we all have different ways of dealing with them. It was a long night with very little sleep that resulted in me finding the Andrew Johnson relaxation apps in the App Store.

Andrew Johnson is a relaxation coach, hypnotherapist, EFT therapist and reiki teacher. His wide range of recordings (including Beat Procrastination, Quit Smoking and Deep Sleep) are available on CD or as MP3s and due to a partnership with Michael Schneider of HiveBrain Software, many are also available as iPhone apps. I chatted with Michael to find out how he embarked on the journey of creating relaxation apps, what is on his iPhone now and how he sees things developing in the future. (more…)

It’s Game Week here at iPhone.AppStorm, and all this week we’re going to have tons of reviews, giveaways and other good stuff, all centered around the gaming world!

Shaun Inman is a hard man to introduce. From his work on the web he’s become somewhat of an Internet rockstar, pumping out amazing products time after time with what seems to be pinpoint accuracy.

Many will know him as the developer of The Last Rocket, a game that I reviewed and gave a perfect 10/10. Shaun was kind enough to conduct an interview with me over the past month or so, and I’m really happy to say that he’s lifted the curtain a bit, showing us how he works on the amazing things that he does.

When working as an editor or writer online, it’s easy to stay behind the scenes and remain something of an elusive shadow. AppStorm is no exception – we have a great team of editors and writers who work really hard to bring you a regular stream of top-notch articles across the sites.

Today, I thought it would be fun to publish an interview with your very own editor – Kevin Whipps. He’s been a member of the AppStorm team for a while now, and is the driving force behind everything that goes on at iPhone.AppStorm.

I hope you enjoy getting to know your editor a little better, and feel free to leave a few questions for him in the comments!

I was recently honored with the opportunity to have a discussion with the founder of one of my favorite web services: Zootool.

Today we’ll give you a look into our chat with Bastian Allgeier about why he created Zootool, what challenges he faced transitioning a web service into an iPhone app and whether or not we can expect to see an iPad version any time soon!
