More and more of us work on the move these days. Whether you’re a freelancer or just an on-the-go business owner who needs constant access to your accounts, there’s a ton of great iPhone accounting software out there to help you manage accounts.
Whether it’s creating and sending invoicing, tracking billable hours, managing expenses, or even handling payroll, the App Store is chock full of iOS accounting apps. The top iPhone apps for accounting are generally free to download, though they are tied to a subscription model through a cloud-based accounting solution. However, if you need to track your accounts on your mobile, it’s well worth it.

As a freelancer, it is important to keep track of how much time I spend on each project I am working on. Yet, when it comes to tracking my time, I quite honestly suck at it. It is one of those things that I always think I will remember to mark down later and almost always forget.

But I quickly realised that I don’t always have my computer with me when I need to track my time. Therefore, when I saw that there was an iPhone app, I wanted to know how the Toggl Timer compared to the Toggl web version. Let’s find out. (more…)

Come on, I’ll show you how it works. (more…)

Sure, if you work a typical day job you know you’re at work from 8 p.m. until 5 p.m. (or later), with a lunch in between. However, if I asked most of you to to lay out your day for me you may be able to tell me what you did, but not how long you were doing said events (at least not very accurately).
By this point I know some of you may be asking, “who cares?” I know time tracking isn’t a hobby or activity that is particularly exciting or useful to everyone, but if it is, BeginIt may become your new favorite app. (more…)
In this Quick Look, we’re highlighting Anytime. The developer describes Anytime as a beautiful and clean way to track and analyze your work time. Anytime shows you how much of your work is billable, your average revenue and workload, and which customers, projects and services take the lion’s share of your resources. Filter and group time entries and export everything to Dropbox. It works offline as a stand-alone solution or in conjunction with a mite account.
