Like many people, I use my iPhone as my alarm clock. The other day, the alarm went off quite sharply, and I grabbed my phone to turn it off. Problem was, the charging cable caught on my nightstand, and my iPhone 5 took a tumble onto the tile floor, marring the corner nicely. Oy.
Understandably, I was pretty upset. After all, I’ve used cases on all of my iPhones up until the iPhone 5, and I don’t know why I changed my mind. Was I lazy? Did I just keep putting it off? Did I want to show off the iPhone 5 goodness? Whatever it was, I now have a scratched and marred iPhone to show for it.
What about you? Do you buy and use a case for your iPhone or do you just let it sit about naked as a jaybird? Let us know in the poll to the right!
The iPhone has been Microsoft Exchange friendly for a long time now, and it’s definitely made inroads into the business community. While some still rock the BlackBerry with a belt holster, businessmen and women around the world have adopted the iPhone as their main form of communication.
But the iPhone isn’t just for talking and handling email, it also does all sorts of other business tasks. Do you use your iPhone for business or is it just for pleasure? Let us know in the poll to the right!
You can go to the App Store today and buy hundreds of games for your iPhone. And although we’ve had a few console games make their way to our pockets (Sonic the Hedgehog and the Grand Theft Auto series come to mind), there are still some juggernauts that have yet to make their appearance. Our favorite Italian plumber comes to mind, but so do a lot of other characters from the Nintendo universe.
So how do you feel about console games and the iPad? Do you think we should have more of them, or do you like having your games be iOS exclusive? Let us know in the poll to the right!
I think we all can agree that iTunes isn’t exactly the easiest thing to use, particularly if you have a mammoth library. There are lots of different components to the system, and it can be a bit unwieldy.
But now we have iTunes 11, a new version of the software that claims to be the best ever. Is it? Or does iTunes still need a little bit of work? Let us know in the poll to the right!
My folks recently purchased iPhone 5’s for themselves, and on my recommendation, they purchased white ones. See, I bought a black one myself, and now I find myself wishing I had bought the white instead. Of course, my mother now regrets getting a white one, so I have that parental guilt over my head. So that’s fun.
What about you? Did you buy a black or white iPhone? It doesn’t matter whether it’s an iPhone 5 or a 3GS, which color do you have for your iPhone? Let us know in the poll to the right!
When AirPlay was first announced for iOS, it seemed like a pretty cool tool. Now you could stream your songs to different devices, and even video. Today, if you have an AppleTV you can stream video from your iPhone to your TV no problem.
But do you? Do you do this all the time, or is there rarely a need? Let us know in the poll to the right!
Yes, this is iPhone.AppStorm, not iPad.AppStorm, but let’s face it — the iPad mini is kind of a big deal. Last week’s announcements blew a lot of people out of the water, and the iPad mini was one of the big guests for the show.
But we’re all iPhone people here, not iPad. So does the iPad mini appeal to an iPhone owning audience? Do you have any interest in buying an iPad mini, or have you already preordered one? Let us know in the poll to the right!
Today is a big day — there’ll be an Apple announcement in a little bit (or it has already happened, depending on when you read this), and it should be pretty big. The hot rumor is that it’s a 7.85-inch iPad, but is that really it? Is it just new Mac hardware? Something random we’ve never heard of?
Well you tell us! Fill in the poll to the right and let’s see what you think!
Every day there’s a new rumor floating down the Apple information highway. Most recently, it’s been all about the iPad mini, but there’s also been the new iMac rumors, the Retina display MacBook Pro 13, and of course, the Apple TV that’s actually a television.
Sometimes, it’s a bit dizzying to read all this stuff, much less keep up. We report on it using our Twitter feed, but usually with a snarky comment based on the veracity of the rumor.
So what about you? Do you love all the rumors and read every one? Or are you on a “wait and see” approach? Let us know in the poll to the right!
