My wife never liked buying cases for her iPhones, she preferred the Gelaskins-style sticker with a little pattern. No biggie to me, but then one day I noticed that the sticker on the back of her iPhone 4 looked a little … bubbly. I peeled off the sticker, and with it came tons of tiny pieces of glass. She had broken the back of her iPhone and had no idea.
Me, I’m a case guy. But what about you? Do you prefer to buy a case for your iPhone, or do you like it au naturale? Let us know in the poll to the right.
Since it’s still only the summer, we don’t yet have word on a new iPhone. We can guess pretty confidently that it’ll happen this summer, but until then, it’s up to the rumor sites, gossippers and wizards to theorize what they see in Apple’s future.
There’s been a lot of talk recently about expanding the screen size on these things, making it taller, but not wider. Why? It’s closer to a 16X9 format, and it makes it easier for widescreen movies. But this is all conjecture for the moment, at least until we see something in person.
But what about you? Do you think the next iPhone will sport a taller or wider display? Let us know in the comments!

A few weeks back we got the big news that iOS 6 was coming out this fall and it came with a whole bunch of new features. The laundry list is pretty big: Facebook integration, eyes free, new maps … it just keeps on going.
This is all big news, but what about for you? What’s the big thing you’re looking forward to in iOS 6? Let us know in the poll to the right.
Just over a week ago, we found out exactly what’s in iOS 6, and saw some of the cool new features to come along with it. We’ve already told you about them, but now we’re wondering if you’re excited about all of the big changes, or if it’s just a ho-hum release. What do you think? Let us know in the poll to the right.
WWDC is a big event in the Apple universe, designed to bring in the best and brightest developers in the community. It’s not a public event, but what if it was? What if anyone could go to WWDC — would you?
Let’s find out. Answer in the poll on the right and let us know!
We’re counting down the days to WWDC over here at AppStorm. A few years ago, WWDC introduced us to a new iPhone, and the current rumor is that we’re going to see the next iPhone at this year’s event. Of course, that’s all speculation, but we want to know your opinion. Let us know in the poll if you think we’ll see the next iPhone in just a few weeks or not!
So we’ve got just a few weeks until WWDC 2012, a big event in the Apple universe. Last year, WWDC showed us Lion, iOS 5 and iCloud — what’s on the plate for this year? Guesses are running the gamut, from the new iPhone, to a smaller iPad and even Mountain Lion being put out into the wild.
But iTunes? Well it needs an overhaul, that’s for sure, and there’s been a lot of scuttlebutt around the water cooler that iTunes 11 will be a completely new interface and design, maybe even breaking up the App Store and iTunes Store. Will it come out at WWDC?
You tell us! Let us know in the poll to the right.
I was bouncing between options on my Apple TV the other day, and I stopped for a moment on iTunes Match. I remember when I first heard about the concept how I thought it had its ups and its downs, but it could still be pretty neat. I never bought a subscription because right now I don’t really see the need — but what about you? Do you have an iTunes Match subscription? Let us know in the poll to the right.
Ever gotten a bill from iTunes that scared the crap out of you? It happened to me just the other day, because I went on a bender on the Marvel Comics app, bought a movie for the family, and a few more for review. The bill was a bit higher than I expected, that’s for sure.
What about you? Ever received a bill that was higher than you thought? If so, how much was it for? Answer in the poll to the right!
I was having a discussion with a few of my friends the other night out at a bar, and one of them — an Android guy — kept asking me about the “crappy screen” on my iPhone 4S. Of course, we all know the Retina display is pretty sweet, but he claimed the 1080P video on his was “soooo much better.” I would’ve responded, but then he started flirting with what he thought was a hot woman, but was really a picture of Elle McPherson from 1992.
That doesn’t negate the fact that he had an interesting point. The new iPad has a better than 1080P resolution, so it can play HD movies just fine. Do you think the next iPhone will have it? Let us know in the poll to the right and let’s get down to the bottom of it.
