Weekly Poll

I was bouncing between options on my Apple TV the other day, and I stopped for a moment on iTunes Match. I remember when I first heard about the concept how I thought it had its ups and its downs, but it could still be pretty neat. I never bought a subscription because right now I don’t really see the need — but what about you? Do you have an iTunes Match subscription? Let us know in the poll to the right.

Ever gotten a bill from iTunes that scared the crap out of you? It happened to me just the other day, because I went on a bender on the Marvel Comics app, bought a movie for the family, and a few more for review. The bill was a bit higher than I expected, that’s for sure.

What about you? Ever received a bill that was higher than you thought? If so, how much was it for? Answer in the poll to the right!

I was having a discussion with a few of my friends the other night out at a bar, and one of them — an Android guy — kept asking me about the “crappy screen” on my iPhone 4S. Of course, we all know the Retina display is pretty sweet, but he claimed the 1080P video on his was “soooo much better.” I would’ve responded, but then he started flirting with what he thought was a hot woman, but was really a picture of Elle McPherson from 1992.

That doesn’t negate the fact that he had an interesting point. The new iPad has a better than 1080P resolution, so it can play HD movies just fine. Do you think the next iPhone will have it? Let us know in the poll to the right and let’s get down to the bottom of it.

When I’m making up the schedule every week, I try to do a mix of different articles that then spread out over the course of the month. There are a few different types I have to work with, but every so often I just wonder — what is it you would like to read?

So what the heck, let’s find out. In the box to the right, let us know what kind of posts you like on iPhone.AppStorm. Once I find out the results, I’ll make some adjustments and we’ll see how it goes. Thanks!

We all had a life prior to the iPhone. Maybe you’re new to the scene and had an Android phone for a bit, or possibly you had a BlackBerry before this one. Heck, maybe it’s something completely different. Well we here at iPhone.AppStorm want to know what you had prior to the iPhone. And if you’re feeling frisky, let us know in the comments why you switched. Thanks!

The Internet was all abuzz last week with talk of Google’s Project Glass, a concept video for a visor mounted HUD that you’d wear daily. More on the concept later this week, but we’ve got a question for all of you: Do you think Apple will (or is currently) working on some concept similar to Project Glass?

It seems kind of crazy, but we want to know what you think. Let us know in the poll to the right.

Here in the United States, there are a few states that have laws that say if you’re driving that you can’t talk on the phone without the use of a Bluetooth headset. Now that’s all well and good, but to me, the Bluetooth headset craze has gone out of vogue, and I don’t see too many people wearing them walking through the streets unless they also wear mock turtlenecks and Girbauds from 1996.

But what about you? Do you use a Bluetooth headset, and if so, is it just while driving? Let us know in the poll to the right.

Although there’s no confirmation yet, everyone assumes that the next iPhone — whatever it’s named — is going to have LTE onboard. Where I live, Verizon dominates AT&T in that category, so making the switch for me is something of a no brainer.

But what about for you? Will you make a switch if the next iPhone has LTE? Let us know in the poll to the right.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. There’s a new iPad and we hear it’s awesome. Even though this isn’t our sister site, iPad.AppStorm, we know that most of you either have an iPad or are considering the purchase sometime soon. That’s what the iOS system is all about, right?

So did you pull the trigger and get yourself a new iPad? Let us know in the poll to the right.

So the new iPad was introduced last week, and with it came some pretty major technical improvements that make up one really impressive device. In the previous two generations, certain improvements were introduced with the iPad, then passed over to the iPhone and we so no reason why this time should be any different.

Do you? What do you think will make it to the next model of iPhone? Let us know in the poll to the right.
