Weekly Poll

Although reactions have been mixed on the new iPhone 4S, there are still a ton of people who are going to buy one, that’s for sure. Me? Well I’ve preordered mine, so I know I’ll have something shiny and new on October 14th, but that was kind of a given, right?

So where do you stand in the mix? Do you plan on buying an iPhone 4S on launch day, or are you going to wait it out for the next iPhone to arrive? Let us know in our poll!

Tomorrow we’ve got a big announcement at Apple HQ, and we know one thing: They’re going to talk about the iPhone. Other than that, we don’t really have much info other than a bunch of rumors, and nothing really concrete.

So what’s the word? What do you think we’ll find out tomorrow? Let us know in the poll to the right.

The current rumor gossip has the next Apple event being this October 4th, and if that holds true, odds are a new iPhone is coming out soon. Some people buy accessories for their iPhone on opening day, from cases to screen protectors and anything else.

So what’s the first thing you buy for your new iPhone? Do you have to have a new case with each new model or do you even buy anything at all? Let us know in the poll to the right.

There’s been lots of hype rolling out recently that says the iPhone 5 will be coming sometime in September. And yet, here we are, 19 days in, and no iPhone to speak of. That’s pushing back these rumor timetables into October, and I’ve even read that it may be into 2012 until we see a “new” iPhone, and not just a redone or stepped down iPhone 4.

So what do you think? Is this the week that we’ll finally get the word of a new Apple announcement and potentially the iPhone 5? Or are we going to have to wait another few week(s) until we find out? Let us know in the poll.

We’re always looking for new ideas around here, and when the concept of doing an entire week on one topic came up, we decided to give it a go. I mean, everyone loves productivity apps, right? So why not go really in depth with the topic and see what happens?

But now we want to know what you think. Did you like productivity week? If so, would you like to see other themed weeks like Game Week, Lifestyle Week or anything else? Let us know in the poll to the right, and give us some specifics in the comments. Thanks!

It’s Productivity Week here at iPhone.AppStorm, and all week we’re going to have app reviews and how-tos, all based on getting things done. Plus, we’ll even pull some classic reviews out of the archives. Stay tuned all week!

There are about a million apps in the App Store based on David Allen’s popular book, Getting Things Done, forming a craze that’s known by the acronym GTD. With so many apps to choose from, it can be pretty daunting to find one that really fits your needs. In fact, there are so many choices that some people may opt not to use the apps at all.

So where do you fall in the spectrum? Answer in the poll to the right and let us know!

It’s almost September, and according to everybody with a website that has anything to do with Apple, the iPhone 5 will be announced and/or released soon. Although we’ve already seen some of the tricks that iOS 5 has in store, we still don’t know what kind of hardware changes are coming with the iPhone 5 — or whatever they decide to name it.

So what do you think is next? Let us know in the poll!

When I bought my first iPhone — an iPhone 3G — I really wanted a white one. To me, a white iPhone was going to stand out from the rest, and I just liked it. The following year, I wanted black because the white got dirty too easily. Today, I really don’t care, I just want it to look good.

I’ve got friends though, who want any color possible on their iPhone. Pink, blue, green — it doesn’t matter, they only want some kind of color, because they want their iPhone to stand out.

What about you? Do you care about the color of your iPhone or does it matter at all? Let us know in the poll on the right, or make a comment!

The other day I ran into a buddy of mine who I hadn’t seen in a long time, and I noticed that he was using an original iPhone. I was shocked — not only that he hadn’t upgraded, but that it still held a charge. But he was happy with it, so he felt no reason to upgrade. Then I ran into a friend of mine who bought an iPhone 3G when it was deeply discounted (but still a new phone), and he loves it too.

So how about you? What model iPhone do you have? Let us know in the poll, and if you’ve got any interesting stories about it, tell us in the comments.

Remember when 4.3 was announced and everyone flocked to get all the new features? I remember, and right after I updated I had mammoth problems with my iPhone. It took me a few days to get it straightened out, and if I had just waited a few days and read the reports of other people having similar issues, then I would have known to wait.

Now iOS 5 is coming out sometime soon, and the question is, do we update right away or wait a bit to hear what the Internet collectively says about any problems that could happen? Answer in the poll to the right, and let’s figure it out.
