iPhone 3GS

So now it’s official: we’ve got a new iPhone. Doesn’t that old iPhone 4S look a bit dated now? Thing is, you can pretty much pay nothing for your next iPhone — something I’ve proven myself in the past. But if you don’t want the hassle, we’ve got a pretty sweet deal for you — right after the jump. (more…)

It’s funny how things work, but the other day — right after I finished writing a post about how to pay nothing for your iPhone — I received an email from, and about how they would like to work with us to offer a special deal for only our readers. We started talking it out, and after a few emails were exchanged, we figured out a great deal that will get you some cash for your working or broken iPhone.

Oh, and the deal that AppStorm readers are getting is 25% more than the average person on the street. Interested? We’ll give you the deets after the break.

As a lot of us already know, the iPhone 4S was shown to the world a few days ago. Whenever a new Apple product comes out, I always go through this game in my mind of “is this worth buying?” Even if I am not planning on purchasing it myself, I like to think about it from a consumer point of view.

So does it make sense for you to buy the iPhone 4s? Let’s look at a few different scenarios and find out after the break.

The other day I ran into a buddy of mine who I hadn’t seen in a long time, and I noticed that he was using an original iPhone. I was shocked — not only that he hadn’t upgraded, but that it still held a charge. But he was happy with it, so he felt no reason to upgrade. Then I ran into a friend of mine who bought an iPhone 3G when it was deeply discounted (but still a new phone), and he loves it too.

So how about you? What model iPhone do you have? Let us know in the poll, and if you’ve got any interesting stories about it, tell us in the comments.

We should be finding out about the new iPhone any day now, but there’s been talk recently about AT&T and Verizon dropping the prices on the iPhone 4 in anticipation of the new model. This is nothing new, they’ve been doing this for years now. But it made me wonder about our reading audience. When do you all buy your iPhones? Do you stand in line on launch day, wait a bit, or scoop them up at sale prices? Let us know in the poll to the right.
